No Hit Zone

APSAC-NY is working to eliminate corporal punishment and establish “no hit zones” at our agencies.

A "No Hit Zone" is an environment in which no adult shall hit a child, no adult shall hit another adult, no child shall hit an adult, and no child shall hit another child. No Hit Zones create an environment of comfort and safety for parents, families, and staff present in our facilities. No Hit Zones set a precedent within the community and establish a commitment to the promotion of effective parenting techniques.
